Halfway between the city and the nature, ERI BANKING’S new headquarters fits in a new environment that reminds us of Geneva’s industrial past.
A workspace where human gets his place back in a technological activity.
With a privileged view of Genevese countryside and mountains, the users benefit from a space that favours interaction and isolation.
The space organisation offers its inhabitants the options to work in team or alone, according to the task that has to be done.
The colour palette is seeking balance between the company corporate identity and its environment.
Cold tones and light-coloured mesh pattern evoke in a subtle way the link – one of the company value – and gives the space a technological aspect proper to ERI BANKING.
On the contrary, breakout spaces offer textured and muted materials with warn tones, far from the company identity, for a better disconnection.
This project is a prime example of strengthening ties with the local community by collaborating with local carpenters, thus reducing the carbon footprint and supporting the local economy.
Commitment to sustainability was reflected in our approach to furniture. A significant portion of it was reclaimed and repurposed from the client’s old office, thereby reducing waste and promoting a culture of reuse. These pieces were combined with new furniture, which underwent a rigorous selection process to minimise the project’s impact. For the flooring, we opted for carpets with Cradle to Cradle Silver certification, which applied the principles of circularity in their production and feature a 100% recyclable base.
