In Geneva’s historical and industrial heart, the Michelangelo Foundation and the Foundation de la Haute Horlogerie present an international showcase for craftsmanship and watchmaking. Just as water flows underneath the Pont de le Machine, the past and present comingle in a display of each industry’s heritage and innovations, ensuring that wisdom and know-how are transmitted across new generations.
Elegant and modern offices are displayed within the building’s expansive interior. The original iron structure and old stone walls are showcased to preserve the building’s industrial character, while the interior design is based on fluidity.
Permeable spaces encourage collaboration, synergy and creativity. Placing people at the center promotes exchange, and ensures that craftsmanship and know-how are transmitted across new generations.
